ALEXEY MURZHENKO

Former Political Prisoner,
first time arrested by KGB at 18 for arrested
 and sentenced to 5 years in prison for creation
of "antisoviet youth organization"
In June 1970, participated in an attempt of 10 other
 people to high jack the plane from Leningrad to Sweden in
 order to immigrate. He was arrested again for "treason" and sentenced
to 14 years in lab. This
 was a famous "samoletchik" affair which later has opened the
 immigration doors to thousands and thousands of Soviet jews.
